Suggestions and Recommendations
We value your time and would like to ensure that we at IID are bound to support all the participants in achieving their targeted certifications.
Here we have listed few suggestions/recommendations with the objective of making your visit to Nepal for attending BOOT CAMP, more cost effective, qualitative and enjoyable one.
Suggestions for More Success
- Choose the right track, take the Knowledge Level Test.
- Reserve your seat as early as possible. If you register at least 1 month in advance, you can get the first two course books couriered. This will give you some basic insight of the subject before attending the training program.
- Prepare to work hard. Students typically study for 10-12 hours per day. Our faculty is ready to help you and support you and want that you should acquire more knowledge in less time.
- Carry a laptop with you (recommended). This will allow you to review course slides and practice exercises in the evening.
- Book your return flight a few days after last date of the Boot Camp. This will allow you to attempt any missed exams and/or sightseeing. If possible carry an open air-ticket in which date change is allowed.
Suggestions to Save Costs
- Go for multiple certifications so that cost per certification go down. If possible, retain options to stay back for more courses.
- If you are paying for the training yourself, claim it as training expenses in your Income Statement (most countries allow full rebate for training expenses).
- Visit Air Fares page for affordable flight options.
- Plan a holiday with your partner. Many participants bring their partner with them for the entire or partial stay. Some of them go on a tour of Nepal after finishing the training. Thus, you can have a wonderful holiday in Nepal at a nominal extra cost. If interested, our Hospitality / Courtesy Desk will help you to do so.
- You can easily buy self learning and exam preparation books in reasonable price as books related to Information and Communication Technology are very inexpensive in Nepal. It is a good idea to buy these books in Nepal.
Suggestions to make your visit more enjoyable
- Pokhara and Kathmandu are two very exotic locations of Nepal. The picturesque surroundings of each of them will make your stay really enjoyable.
- Learn a little about Nepal before arriving. For more details click here.
- Invite your partner for part of the course (preferably the latter half when you are finished with the most grueling part of the training). You can then enjoy a pleasant holiday.
- Be careful about what you eat and drink in Nepal. We advise to take extreme caution about this for at least first week stay. Our Hospitality / Courtesy Desk will be happy to advise you about this.
- Most of students prefer to hire a motorbike for the duration of their stay in Pokhara / Kathmandu to go out for dinner in the evening and also to visit tourist places. If you wish to hire a bike, carry your driving license and have it endorsed for international driving.
Hope you will find our suggestions useful and we look forward to meeting you soon. Feel free to suggest additions to this page.
